Depresión y ansiedad durante Covid-19 en personal de salud atendido en Centro de Salud Mental
Resumen
Introducción: La depresión y la ansiedad son fenómenos comunes que se han exacerbado en situacionescomola del COVID-19, por lo que es importante su análisis en los trabajadores del área de la salud.
Objetivo: Analizar el nivel de depresión y ansiedad del personal de salud atendido en un Centro de Salud Mental Comunitario mexicano durante la pandemia porCOVID-19.
Métodos: Estudio transversal, que consideró 106 registros con diagnóstico de depresión o ansiedad del periodo 1 de enero de 2020 a 31 de diciembre de 2020. Se comparó mediante tablas de contingencia las variables de interés con las pruebas estadísticas de ji-cuadrado y Kruskall-Wallis. Se empleó un modelo de regresión logística para estimar el riesgo de sufrir depresión severa y ansiedad alta respecto a otras combinaciones diagnósticas.
Resultados: El género predominante fue el femenino (77 %), con una edad promedio de 36 a.os. El 7 % de los individuos estudiados presentaron al mismo tiempo depresi.n severa y ansiedad alta, que, al analizarlo en un modelo predictivo, se concluye que el ser hombre tiene más probabilidades de sufrir esta combinación de padecimientos.
Discusión: Aunque el género parece desempeñar un papel, otros factores deben estar contribuyendo a la presencia de depresión y ansiedad en los trabajadores del área de la salud en Querétaro.
Conclusiones: La depresión severa y la ansiedad alta registrada en el Centro de Salud Mental de Querétaro, México. se asocia consistentemente con el género masculino.
